The Law Office of April Gregory specializes in resolving a dispute before a Complaint is ever filed with the Court. April is experienced in negotiating disputes in the following practice areas:
I. Real Estate Transactions (including Home Inspector Breach of Contract and Negligence)
II. Construction
III. Taxation (with North Carolina Department of Revenue and Internal Revenue Service ONLY)
IV. Contractual Disputes
V. Licensing
Please note, April focuses on settlements. Therefore, litigation services beyond writing an Answer and Motion to Dismiss are only available in limited circumstances.
April's main goal is to avoid litigation. This is why she provides future dispute mitigation. April will review any contract or legal document (including Tax Documents) that you and/or your company utilizes and discuss areas that could leave you and/or your organization vulnerable. After discussing your contracts, we can build a plan to provide you with the best possible legal protections and insight.
If you have already been involved in a contractual dispute, regardless if The Law Office of April Gregory represented you, we can discuss the issues found by the Court and the other party. After reviewing your documents and your previous dispute, we will work to build a better contract with you.
An Initial Consultation is required for all representation. This is a meeting where we discuss your legal issue, needs, and concerns. During this time, we begin building a strategy for your legal issue. A consultation is typically 30 minutes. The Law Office of April Gregory charges a $175.00 consultation fee on all matters, which will be applied as a credit towards the final invoice or flat fee if retained. If both you and the Law Office of April Gregory agree that your current situation is not appropriate for our services, we may refund a portion of the fee.
The Law Office of April Gregory's rates vary based on case and certain circumstances. We will discuss rate, fees, and estimated costs during your consultation.
